Ballycurrin Lighthouse, County Mayo
Heavy rains throughout the winter had submerged the twin jetties that run up to and alongside this lighthouse, but I think this actually adds to the image’s strength. I had to perch myself on a rock which sat on what had become a marsh, and bend over at an odd angle in order to operate the camera to get this shot. As you can probably tell by the slate grey sky, it was raining too.

This print is produced to archival standard on Hahnemühle paper (Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm) using pigmented UltraChrome K3 inks from Epson. The print has a large white border surround which is signed and numbered underneath by Aled.
Prints are shipped sandwiched in hardboard to ensure that they arrive flat and in pristine condition. Prints are usually posted the following working day.
